About Us

MIDRAND
Midrand, the northern gateway to Johannesburg combines the best of urban and country lifestyles, and is truly a place where one can live, work and play.

It is also ideally placed for development, offering everything a commercial or housing investor could need and in fact, Midrand is considered to be one of the fastest growing urban areas in the Southern Hemisphere with its abundance of shopping and residential complexes.

The primary focus of Midrand is business and situated in the heart of the busy Midrand central business district, one will find Johannesburg’s prime conferencing site – Gallagher Estate and the Pan African Parliament.

To compliment Midrand’s growing business activities, Midrand boasts a wide range of accommodation from quiet country styled Bed & Breakfast places and strategically placed hotels with 2 minute freeway access to a luxurious 5 star lodge that is on par with the best in the world.

Midrand’s transportation grid is one of the best placed in the region. With easy highway access to Tshwane, Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni via the first free flow intersection in Africa, Midrand is ideally placed between the political, financial and industrial centres of South Africa.

Adding to Midrand’s strategically located transportation hub is the newly launched Gautrain providing high speed train links between Tshwane, Johannesburg and ORT International airport. Midrand also enjoys quick and centrally located access to OR Tambo International Airport, Midrand’s Grand Central Airport and Lanseria International Airport.

5 million people live within 30 minutes drive of Midrand and most of this market is comprised of LSM 7-10 economically influential consumers.

Midrand is truly poised for significant economic development.
